Student Teachers World Environment Day was observed at Sabarigiri High School on 5 June 2026 in the afternoon with the active participation of student teachers, school students, and teachers. The programme aimed to create awareness about environmental conservation and promote eco-friendly practices among students. The programme commenced with anchoring by Veena, followed by the NSS Song presented by Shahina and Abhirami. Kavya delivered the welcome speech and formally welcomed the gathering. The stage and venue were beautifully decorated using natural materials. 26.05.2026 Tuesday  Report on Book Donation Programme As part of the NSS programme, a book donation activity was organized for the students of Government Jawahar Higher Secondary School. A total of 15 students participated in the programme with the aim of promoting reading habits and supporting the educational needs of school students. The programme started at 11:00 a.m. when the NSS volunteers departed from the college to the school. After reaching the school premises, the participants assembled together and began the programme with the NSS Anthem, creating a spirit of unity and service among the volunteers. During the programme, books were distributed to the students of the school. The activity was conducted successfully with the cooperation of the school authorities and NSS volunteers. The field trip organized by Sabarigiri College of Education, Anchal, was conducted on 27th March 2026 as part of the B.Ed curriculum. The trip aimed to provide students with practical exposure and an opportunity to explore natural and industrial sites. The journey began early in the morning, with students reporting at the college campus at 3:45 AM. The group started the trip at 5:00 AM. Breakfast was arranged at Adimali around 10.00 AM. The first major visits included Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Dam at 11.30 AM, where students enjoyed the scenic beauty and learned about water resource management. At 12:30 AM, the group visited Eco Point and a nearby photo point, making the experience more enjoyable and memorable.
