Field trip



The field trip organized by Sabarigiri College of Education, Anchal, was conducted on 27th March 2026 as part of the B.Ed curriculum. The trip aimed to provide students with practical exposure and an opportunity to explore natural and industrial sites.

The journey began early in the morning, with students reporting at the college campus at 3:45 AM. The group started the trip at 5:00 AM. Breakfast was arranged at Adimali around 10.00 AM.

The first major visits included Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Dam at 11.30 AM, where students enjoyed the scenic beauty and learned about water resource management. At 12:30 AM, the group visited Eco Point and a nearby photo point, making the experience more enjoyable and memorable.

Lunch was provided at 2.00 PM, followed by visit to the top point where students walked and enjoyed the serenic beautyaround 6.00 pm and took pictures in the tea estate.

Dinner was arranged at Adimali at 10.00 PM. The group returned safely to the college campus by 5:00 AM the next day. Many were tired with dizziness, vomiting and many health issues.

Overall, the field trip was informative  and helped students gain practical knowledge.
