The College Day of our institution was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur on 24th March 2026 at 10:30 a.m. The event brought together students, faculty, and distinguished guests to mark the culmination of the academic year and to celebrate achievements in various fields.
The programme began with a prayer led by Shahna, creating a serene and positive atmosphere. The event was gracefully compered by Rosy Azna, who ensured the smooth flow of the programme.
The formal function commenced with the welcome address delivered by the Principal, Dr. Roy G., who warmly greeted the dignitaries and the gathering. This was followed by the presidential address by Ankitha, the Chairperson, who highlighted the achievements and progress of the college during the year.
The inauguration of the function was carried out by Sri Anand, a renowned violinist, who also captivated the audience with a musical performance. The College Union Closing Ceremony was then conducted, marking the successful completion of the union’s activities for the academic year.
Felicitation speeches were delivered by Ms. Sreedevi (Vice Principal), Ms. Jaseena (NSS Officer), Ms. Rakhi (Union Advisor), Princy (Vice Chairperson), and Gowri (General Secretary), who appreciated the collective efforts of students and staff.
The Sports Day Prize Distribution was another highlight of the programme. The winners were announced by the Sports Club Secretary, Anupama. Aswini was declared the Women’s Champion, and the group Astra emerged as the overall winner.
The formal session concluded with a delightful musical show by Sri Anand. In the afternoon, the celebrations continued with vibrant cultural programmes presented by the students, showcasing their talents and creativity.
The College Day celebration was a memorable event filled with joy, pride, and a sense of accomplishment, leaving lasting impressions on everyone present.
